Ashura Observance and Institute Closure Notice

Notice

Please be informed that on Sunday, 6 July 2025, all academic activities at the institute will remain suspended in observance of the holy day of Ashura.

Fasting on Ashura is a highly virtuous act. On this day, Allah (SWT) saved Musa (peace be upon him) and his believing followers from the hands of the tyrant Pharaoh of Egypt.

Similarly, in August 2024, Allah (SWT) freed the people of Bangladesh from the oppressive rule of Sheikh Hasina, her family, and their accomplices in the Awami League and Chhatra League, who were responsible for abduction, murder, and mass killings.

However, Muslims in neighboring India, Palestine including Masjid al-Aqsa (our first Qibla), and various parts of the world are still suffering from severe oppression, planned famine, and genocide.

We fervently pray to Almighty Allah that through the blessings of fasting on this day, He grants liberation to all the oppressed across the world, especially in Palestine.

By order,
Muhammad Wasifur Rahman
