To obey and comply with our beloved prophet Muhammad’s teaching, peace be upon him, An-Nour Institute for Al-Azhar Education proudly launched the Gaza Relief Initiative.
Part of this noble endeavor was sending Food Lorrie to Gaza supervised by the Egyptian Zakat and Charity House under the esteemed leadership of His Excellency Major General Amr Lotf, blessed by His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Al-Tayyeb, may Allah preserve him and grant him long life with good health, aims to provide vital support to the people of Gaza. In the seventh convoy, our collaboration partners were the Hilf Al-Fudoul Organization and Dar Al-Arqam Institute in Kishoreganj, Bangladesh.
The initiative was met with immense gratitude from our resilient brothers and sisters in the occupied Gaza Strip. Among the 125 trucks donated by countries, humanitarian organizations, and charitable associations worldwide, An-Nour Institute’s contribution included a truck laden with essential food and baby milk worth USD 17,888. This seventh convoy departed from Egypt’s vibrant capital, Cairo, on Monday, April 29, 2024, symbolizing a beacon of hope and worldwide solidarity.
In addition to this significant effort, An-Nour Institute is committed to a continuous outpouring of love and support. Each month, the institute provides financial aid, food, vegetables, drinking water, and other vital necessities to our cherished brothers and sisters in the Gaza Strip in their time of need, working in harmony with other benevolent institutions and bodies.
