Integrated Course for Learning Classical and Modern Standard Arabic

An Arabic language course (for women), organized by An-Nour Institute, is now open for registration for a new A Level batch (A1 & A2). The course will be conducted based on a customized syllabus inspired by the renowned Arabic curriculum series “التحفة الأزهرية” taught at Egypt’s prestigious Al-Azhar University.

This is a well-structured, organized, and modern approach to learning Arabic—moving beyond traditional methods. The language will be taught in a simple, engaging, and effective way.

 Course Duration

Beginner Level (A Level: A1 & A2): 8 months

🔸 Full Course Duration (6 Levels): 24 months

Classes Start: September 20, 2026

🔹 Course Fee: $18/month

Class Schedule

Days: Sunday – Wednesday (4 days a week)

Time: 8:30 PM – 10:30 PM (2 hours per day)

🔰 Course Features 🔰

• Two books (2 levels) from the Al-Azhar Arabic language series “التحفة الأزهرية” will be taught in A1 and A2.
• Complete Arabic grammar (Nahw & Sarf) will be covered independently in both A1 and A2 levels.
• The course follows the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) for skill development and assessment.
• Strong focus on practical, everyday Arabic based on Modern Standard Arabic from A1 to B1.
• From A2, students will be introduced to regional accents.
• From B2, students will develop real conversational skills through sessions with native Arabic speakers from different countries.
• Lessons will be delivered using PowerPoint presentations based on “التحفة الأزهرية”.

Additional Features in the Full Course:

• From Level B1: Topic-based language clubs and audio/video resources for practice.
• From Level B2: Conversation (محادثة) classes with native Arabic speakers.
• Full 6-book series (6 levels) of “التحفة الأزهرية” will be covered.

Minimum Admission Requirement

Students must be able to read the Qur’an fluently with correct pronunciation according to Tajweed rules. Otherwise, they must first successfully complete the institute’s 3-month basic Tajweed and Qaida Nooraniyyah course.
