Standing With the Seekers of Knowledge in Their Hardest Moments
The journey of Deen is not confined merely to the pursuit of knowledge; rather, its true beauty lies in transforming that knowledge into meaningful service for humanity. With this understanding, An-Nour Institute has undertaken a compassionate humanitarian initiative to support Bangladeshi students studying in Egypt.
The path of seeking knowledge is never free from hardship—especially when combined with the challenges and limitations of life abroad. The lives of many Bangladeshi students studying at Al-Azhar University reflect this reality. Being based in Egypt, the founders of An-Nour Institute had the opportunity to closely witness the struggles these students face. In particular, married students living with their families endure even greater difficulties—limited income, increased responsibilities, and the constant challenge of meeting daily necessities. Yet despite these hardships, their unwavering dedication and sincere commitment to seeking knowledge remain truly inspiring.
From these firsthand experiences emerged a deep sense of responsibility:

Alhamdulillah, motivated by this responsibility, the founders of An-Nour Institute have been continuously carrying out various humanitarian initiatives.
As part of this development-oriented initiative, in collaboration with Sheikh Mufti Saiful Islam, Khatib of Masjidut Taqwa, Dhanmondi, Dhaka & Poriborton Foundation, valuable household electronic appliances and essential furniture were distributed among 26 student families living with their families. It is hoped that this support will help ease some of the burdens of their daily lives. In addition, through Qurbani projects, house-rent assistance, and regular financial support, efforts have already been made to bring positive change to the lives of many students, Alhamdulillah.
This initiative stands as a remarkable reflection of An-Nour Institute’s sense of responsibility, compassion, and vision. The institution firmly believes that the service of knowledge attains its true perfection only when it is devoted to the welfare of people.
We pray to Almighty Allah to accept this service, make it a continuous charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), and grant the best rewards to everyone involved.
